Viscofiber® Oat β-Glucan
Viscofiber® is a premium grade high-viscosity soluble fiber, made from oats and barley, that is rich in beta-glucans. Research suggests that Viscofiber® helps to maintain healthy cholesterol levels.*
Plant Sterols
Plant Sterols, also called Phytosterols, are compounds that can be found in a variety of “heart-healthy” fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Because Plant Sterols are structurally similar to the body’s cholesterol, when they are consumed they compete for absorption and as a result, help to reduce blood cholesterol levels.*
Policosanol
Policosanol is the general term for a mixture of long-chain alcohols extracted from plant waxes such as the outer coating of Sugar Cane. Research suggests that Policosanol is an effective lipid-lowering agent.*
