How the L22 Formula Works

L22 is a patented lipid complex made exclusively from botanical sources designed to provide the same balanced skin-lipid profile of younger, healthy skin. The fatty acids of jojoba oil (wax esters) are interchanged with the fatty acids of macadamia oil (triglycerides) to form new wax esters and triglycerides with new fatty acid compositions. These new wax esters and triglycerides closely resemble those present in skin lipids. This is then combined with olive oil-sourced squalene, plant sterols, and sterol esters.
