Suggested use
You will need:
- 1 lb lean ground beef or equivalent plant-based alternative
- 1 can (15 oz) pinto or kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoesÂ
- In a large saucepan, thoroughly cook ground beef. Drain, returning beef to pan.Â
- Add beans and tomatoes to ground beef.Â
- Add seasoning mix and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until desired thickness is reached.Â
Tips
Slow-cooker: Add 15 oz tomato sauce; cook 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high.
Cook down leftovers for hearty nachos.
