ROSEHIPS – Frontier Co-op Rosehips (Rosa canina), are also called rose haw or rose hep. These seeds are commonly used in syrups, jellies, jams, beverages, teas, and bread. They’re widely available in various forms such as whole and powdered.
USEFUL INGREDIENT – Rosehips are utilized in different ways and have been used in cooking for thousands of years. They act as a flavoring or condiment, as they are commonly mixed into tea, jellies, jams, syrups, marmalades, pies, bread, and even wines. They also serve as great decor for a range of DIY crafts and projects!
FLORAL – Frontier Co-op Rosehips are berry-like fruits with a tangy taste. They are not like roses at all; they are almost the same as hibiscus flowers when it comes to aroma and scent. They offer a distinct flavor combination of fruits and spices.
BULGARIAN GROWN – Our rosehips are cultivated and processed in Bulgaria and are 100% Kosher certified and non-irradiated. Every rosehip is hand-picked and dried naturally.
ABOUT US – Owned by stores and organizations that buy and sell our products, Frontier Co-op has been a member-owned cooperative since 1976. We support natural living and our products are never irradiated or treated with ETO. We’re committed to the health and welfare of the environment and everyone producing and consuming our botanical products.
