N-acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) comes from the amino acid L-Cysteine and is a precursor to the antioxidant Glutathione. NAC provides the body, liver and cells with increased levels of Glutathione and the antioxidant protection they need to better perform their functions. NAC may help neutralize free radicals, enhance the immune system and detoxify the liver. NAC may also help delay muscle fatigue and support muscle growth. NAC supports lung health and healthy respiratory function.
